New member's guide
Hello 👋
Welcome to Whitkirk Arts Guild! We’re thrilled that you’re here, and we can’t wait to see what you bring to the Society. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got years of experience or if this is your first time taking part in amateur dramatics, we want to make sure you feel part of the Society, build and grow your skills, and most importantly enjoy your time with us.
The paperwork 📋
It’s boring, but it’s really helpful if you can make sure we’ve got up to date contact details. This is so we can make sure you get important messages like the monthly notices, and notices of things like our AGM. You should also let us know if you have any medical details which might be relevant, and make sure we have an emergency contact.
The other important piece of paperwork is the register, which you should use to sign in for every rehearsal and performance. We’re not taking attendance, but we do need to know who is around for safety reasons.
The rules ✅
- We expect all our members to follow the code of conduct.
- Our bye-laws has a few more do and don’t rules.
Help 🙋
- Our what to expect section can help you prepare for rehearsals, recordings, shows and more.
- If you’re feeling lost or confused, the easiest thing to do is grab any of the Committee and ask for help.
